A Shakespeare essay on the life of William Shakespeare would make interesting reading considering the drama created through his plays. He joined The Lord Chamberlain’s Men, a drama troupe in London. That gave him access to the court of King James I who was extremely fond of Shakespeare’s plays and encouraged him. He wrote a total of 38 plays and several poems, which have been translated into almost every language and read in schools and colleges as part of the English language curriculum. To this day, his poems carry meaning with the historical background depicted. Critics have spent decades trying to attribute the success of Shakespeare’s works to several persons. The quality of his work has found more appreciation from those who believe that it was truly written in the 16th century by a man who was a literary genius born way ahead of his time.
